    i heard that the dolphin or the swan are good hotels -- but is it true that they are not disney hotels?

    Hi Christine:

    The Swan and Dolphin hotels are great hotels, conveniently located near the Boardwalk-area, but are not Disney operated hotels. 

    To me, the big difference is that there is not much Disney theming inside the Resorts, however Guests can still enjoy a wide array of Disney benefits, such as complimentary transportation to Walt Disney World theme parks and Extra Magic Hours.
