I heard that the Disney waterparks recently (within the last year) starting giving towels to magic band holders to use without charge during the day. Can anyone confirm if this is true and if there is a fee if you lose it?

Hi, Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

You are going to have a splashtastic time at the Walt Disney World Water Parks. These world class theme parks offer gallons of fun that will keep you cool in the hot Florida sun! Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon are both super fun, and I can’t ever decide which one I enjoy more. Although my son will tell you Disney’s Blizzard Beach is his fave, hands down!

Lisa, I searched online to see if I could find any information indicating there are complimentary towels for guests with active MagicBands. I ended up checking in with a Cast Member who informed me this is not currently being offered, but that all guests can rent towels at both water parks for a nominal fee. To rent towels at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, you can find them at Beach Haus or Snowless Joe's and at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon by visiting Singapore Sal’s or High 'N Dry Rentals.

Be sure to check out the longest water slide in Disney’s Water Park history, Miss Adventure Falls at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon while you are there. It’s a blast! And those mini-donuts at Disney’s Blizzard Beach are tasty!

Have a magical visit and don’t hesitate to come back and see us soon!
