I have heard that Disney is testing an option of using the fast pass plus to book lunch at Be our Guest restaurant and I am wondering about this. How do you use this and for how long is Disney testing this? Is this likely to become a more permanent option?

    Bonjour Melissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing us another great question!  I'm happy to say that what you've heard about the FastPass+ option for lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant is absolutely true!  Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel are currently eligible to participate.  I've been told this is only a test, so I'm not sure how long it will be available, but I'm personally hoping it becomes a permanent option soon.  I've had the pleasure of dining at Be Our Guest for both lunch and dinner, and the atmosphere and food are just amazing.

If you're eligible to participate, you can check for available days and times by visiting beourguestlunch.disney.go.com, logging into your Disney account and entering your reservation information there.  The system will guide you through the rest, including the option to pre-order your meals before you arrive.  If you don't see any openings, keep checking as your vacation dates get closer.  I've heard from friends and family that spots haven't opened up for them until very close to their vacation dates (anywhere from about a month before up until a day or 2 before they arrive).

I hope that helps with your planning, Melissa!  Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions.

    Have a Disney day!
