    I heard that Disney Tails has closed. Is this true? If so, are there any other places in WDW to buy pet merchandise? Thanks! I absolutely need to bring back lots of souvenirs for my dog!

    Hi Erin!

        I was raised in a household where my mother firmly believed that dogs were simply children with fur!  I totally understand your desire to bring home tons of goodies for your pampered pooch!  Never fear, you can find pet items in nearly every shopping location in Disney World.  No matter if you shop in your resort, in the parks or in Downtown Disney - you will find it hard to walk away empty handed.  The World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney has a particularly great selection.

        Also, I'm not sure if this is an option for you or not, but the Best Friends Kennel Care just opened right on Disney property.  This place is AMAZING and your pup can even relax in a V.I.P., Very Important Pet, suite....complete with a flat screen TV!  I haven't been able to check it out personally yet, but it has been getting great reviews!
