    I heard that Disney is recalling mini fridges from rooms & are being slowly replaced. How do I find out if I'll have one when I'm there? (Sept. ASM) Was really counting on having one. Is it likely that I won't have it for2 weeks? coming from UK, no c

    Maria, the transatlantic flight and accompanying jet lag is well worth enduring for two entire weeks of magic and fun at Walt Disney World!

    Yes, the refrigerators in almost every WDW resort room are being removed and replaced due to a possible manufacture's defect. The entire process is expected to take several months. At Disney's All-Star Movies and Music Resorts the appliances are being replaced in all standard rooms. Family suites at All-Star Music will have a refrigerator in the kitchenette. Do call and request a fridge for your room, but remember you cannot be guaranteed one. Let's hope with pixie dust that enough of the refrigerators will be replaced by the time of your arrival that you receive one.
