I've heard Disney has a free dining plan for military. We are vacation club members and have already booked our stay using our points. We also plan on getting the 4 day park hopper tickets, would we be eligible for the free dining if it's available.

    Hi Ronnie,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

To my knowledge, there is not an offer for a free Disney Dining Plan specifically for members of the military.  I checked with my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Ashley, who let me know that military members can add a Disney Dining Plan when booking a Walt Disney World resort stay using a military discounted room rate.  Members of the military can book a room and add a Disney Dining Plan without purchasing theme park tickets.  As Disney Vacation Club Members, we can also add a Disney Dining Plan to a reservation booked using Vacation Points without purchasing theme park tickets.  However, in both of these situations, that is rooms booked with military discounts and those booked through Disney Vacation Club, you are not eligible for the Free Disney Dining promotion, as the free dining promotion is part of a Magic Your Way package.

I suggest that you take a look at the Disney Special Offers & Deals page for information about all of these promotions.  Then, since you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you can call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 to discuss your options and what is the best deal for you.

I hope that this information is helpful for you Ronnie.  I want to thank my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Ashley for her help with this answer.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
