Hello. i heard the Disney cruise will leaving from NY starting from JUIN 2012. Sounds wonderful. Are they gonna be going to the Carribean too? i would love to take my 4y/o daughter to a Carribean cruise. A good way for her to see Haiti.

    Hi, Suze!

You're absolutely right...the Disney Magic will be sailing to the Bahamas from the Manhattan Terminal in New York City -- actually from May until September 2012. This is a great way for those in the area to embark on a Disney cruise from a convenient home port to some exciting ports of call.  The Bahamian Itineraries from New York will make stops in Nassau, Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) and Port Canaveral -- which includes round-trip transportation and a one-day admission to the Walt Disney World Parks.

There are several options for a Disney cruise to the Caribbean -- Eastern and Western. Yet, they embark out of Port Canaveral and Galveston, Texas. In addition, neither of the Caribbean itineraries include stops on the island of Hispanola -- which contains the country of Haiti. I hope that helps you plan.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
