    We have heard dcl will be using magic bands. We have reservations for the May 19th Wish cruise. Will we be able to use our Magic Bands+ in the Cruise?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Margaret! It's always great to see a returning guest. 

    Margaret, how exciting that you'll be sailing on the newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Wish, in just a few weeks! From Marvel Cinematic Universe-themed dining to the first of its kind, AquaMouse, I know you'll have an amazing trip. 

    Now, Margaret, let's talk about DisneyBand+ coming soon to Disney Cruise Line. You are correct that the Disney Wish will be the first to get this new technology onboard, however, we don't yet have a sailing date as to when this will go into effect, only summer 2023. 

    My best advice in the next few weeks leading up to your sail date is to keep a close watch on the Disney Parks Blog for any other announcements about DisneyBand+ on Disney Cruise Line. If you have extra room in your suitcase, it wouldn't hurt to toss in your MagicBand+ just in case!
