I have heard conflicting information on using QS dining credits. I have heard that the QS dining credits are lumped together and a child could actually order off of the Adult side of the menu. This would be wonderful as our 6yr old is a very picky eater.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael! Thanks for bringing us such a great question.

I’m happy to learn you will be enjoying the convenience of one of Disney’s Dining Plans during your visit! You are going to love how easy it is to redeem your credits on your favorite meals, while not having to worry about the budget since it’s already taken care of! And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents, your meals!

I apologize that you have found conflicting information regarding your Quick Service Credits and how you will be able to redeem those during your visit. But I have good news for you! Your quick service credits will not be specific to adult or kids meals. They are in fact lumped together and you can use them as you wish. If your little one sees something on the adult side of the menu that looks better, you will absolutely be able to order that for them. For my family, we used this approach to spread those credits out by ordering both my kids one adult entrée and having them share it and this worked really well for us.

I hope this helped clarify your question. Moms Panelist Cathy recently answered a similar question about quick service child credits that might provide even more insight.

Thanks again for stopping by! Be sure to come back and see us again soon for any additional planning tips, advice, or questions about your upcoming visit to the place where the magic is endless.

    See you real soon,
