Hi Suzanne!
Welcome back to
planDisney. Thanks for floating your question by us. I'd be happy to help you today. It looks like your magical getaway is right around the corner, so let's dive in!
You're going to have the best time at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. My family and I recently spent a fantastic day here during our spring break vacation. I'm happy to share that guests of hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection can pick up complimentary towels at
Singapore Sal's, a merchandise location near the changing rooms just inside the park. Be prepared to show proof of your reservation when picking up towels. Return bins are plentiful in various spots throughout the park, so you can toss your towels in at the end of the day.
Since you don't need to pack towels for your water park day, you might wonder what you
do need to bring. My family and I are frequent water park visitors, and here are a few items we make sure to have in our bags.
- Sunscreen (this is available for purchase at Singapore Sal's, but it's nice to have your preferred SPF and brand)
- A dry change of clothes (so you're not sitting in a wet bathing suit on the air-conditioned bus ride back to your resort)
- A swimsuit cover-up or something similar to put on in between slides or when eating lunch
- A MagicBand or MagicBand+ (a convenient way to pay for food, drinks, and snacks without returning to your seat and fishing out your wallet)
- Sunglasses (I like to wear them on Castaway Creek and some of the tamer slides)
I hope this is helpful, Suzanne. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is such a fun place! Don't miss my family's favorite slides -
Miss Adventure Falls and
Crush 'n' Gusher. We ride them several times in a row as soon as the park opens when the lines are shortest. Thanks again for sending your question to planDisney, and we'll
sea ya real soon!
Just keep swimming,
Betsy
