I heard that if a child is 2 yrs. when they arrive on their Disney vacay that they can enter the parks for free. Is this only if you're staying a Disney hotel, and do we need to show proof from the hotel of our check-in date? She will turn 3 the day after.

    Hi Rebecca!

You certainly heard correct.  Children under three are admitted to the Walt Disney World parks for free and it doesn't matter if this is a resort based vacation or just a magical experience to the happiest place on earth!

The age is based on the day of check-in for your vacation if it is a resort vacation.  If you are simply visiting the parks and your little princess has celebrated her birthday, you will be looking at a child rate for the 3-9 year old category.

    Have a magical vacation!
