    Hi! I've heard that you cannot make DDP dining reservations online unless you're vacation balance has been paid. Is this true? Also, I read that I would need a 12-digit hotel confirmation # to book. I only have a 7-digit confirmation # . Thanks!

    Hi Jill!

    You can book dining reservations at any time, but no more than 180 days from your arrival date.  If you have a valid Walt Disney World Resort confirmation number, you'll be able to book up to 10 days of dining reservations for your vacation at 180 days out from your arrival.  Your vacation balance does not need to be paid before doing so.
