I heard that when you buy a ticket to Magic Kingdom, you are only allowed four rides and each additional ride you have to pay for is that correct?

Hi there, Kristin, and welcome to planDisney! Boy, am I glad you found us here! My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you! We are experts with years of Disney vacation planning experience, and we're here to put your mind at ease when it comes to planning your very own Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Kristin, you're wise to fact-check the source that gave you this information, because (thankfully) it's not accurate. Happily, your Disney Theme Park tickets will grant you admission to Magic Kingdom Park, and once you're inside, you can enjoy as many attractions as you like during your visit! This is true for each of the four parks within Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Each park offers a variety of experiences including rides, shows, live entertainment, shopping, dining, and more!

Let's also chat a bit about things that are not included with your ticket. The first is Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. Each of these options are available for purchase in advance of your visit, and the idea is that by booking a Lightning Lane, you'll experience shorter queues during your visit. For Multi Pass, you can book three selections in advance, and once you redeem a selection, you're welcome to book another! Be sure to read all about Lightning Lanes if you think you might be interested in this offer. You're always welcome to wait in the traditional stand-by queue, which requires no payment outside of your ticket, and you can easily view estimated wait times on the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

Other experiences that are not included with your ticket are known as Enchanting Extras. These unforgettable experiences range from a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where your little one can be transformed into a princess or knight, to a Private VIP Tour, where you'll get incredible service and hospitality as you make your way through your perfect Disney day. While these options are amazing, they're not necessary purchases during an average vacation, though some may end up on your bucket list!

You'll also want to budget for food and souvenirs during your visit. As you make your plans, consider a dining plan. For my family, a dining plan provides so much value - not just in financial savings, but also because it helps me stay in the moment, knowing I've already taken care of the bill. If you'd like to chat more about dining plans, please come back and ask me all about them! I'd be happy to walk you through the ins and outs! You can also purchase Disney Gift Cards in advance of your visit and use them to pay for food and souvenirs.

Kristin, I know I've given you a ton of information, and I understand that it can be a little overwhelming at first. But like I said before, that's why we're here! You can be sure that the information you get from planDisney and all of our online resources is correct, and we'll always be candid with you. Please stop back by anytime!

    See you real soon!
