I’ve heard that my booked Disney vacation must be paid in full 30 days prior to my stay. Does that mean the vacation must be charged in full to my credit card or the credit card must be paid off?

Hi there! Welcome back to planDisney, Carmela! We’re so happy to see you again!

I know it may not seem like it quite yet, but your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it! I bet it will feel like you blinked, and suddenly you're off to enjoying the tail end of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration, which ends March 31st, 2023. How lucky to be arriving just in time to join in on the celebration. And what a party it is! You'll absolutely love visiting during this special time with the extra sprinklings of pixie dust all around Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. But, of course, you won't want to miss the limited-time special EARidescent treats available through the parks, including The Happy Haunts Milkshake from Columbia Harbour House. I mean, a blackberry milkshake with a WHOLE chocolate glazed donut on top - how good does that sound?!

Now, let’s get to your question so you can go back to daydreaming about how awesome your vacation will be! As you mentioned in your question, the final payment on your Walt Disney World vacation is due 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. This means that the payment must be processed either online via your My Disney Experience account or over the phone with a Cast Member on the Existing Reservations Team. So, as long as the payment in full is processed and complete with Walt Disney World, the balance on your actual credit card statement can be taken care of based on whatever the setup is with your bank.

Making a payment toward your vacation is super simple, thanks to your My Disney Experience account. All you’ll need to do is start by logging into your My Disney Experience account from the Walt Disney World website. Then, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner, and click on "My Plans." From there, scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" section, and you should see a blue link that reads "Make a Payment." Once you click on the link, you can follow the prompts to make your payment, and you are all set! As mentioned, you can also make your payment over the phone by giving the helpful Cast Members on the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team a call at (407) 939-1936. They will be happy to help take care of your payment for you.

I do hope this was helpful to you, Carmela! If you have any questions ahead of your visit, please don't hesitate to stop by again! We here at planDisney love to spread a little pixie dust and help you make the absolute most of your vacation!

    Happy Planning!
