    I heard that AK's parking lot only opens 15 minutes prior to park opening. Since I have a rental car, is it I better for me to drive to AK or to take the Disney shuttle? I am staying at AOA.

    Hi Emma!

    It has been my experience that it is generally true; the Animal Kingdom Parking lot does not open much earlier than the park. I have been in a car stuck outside on more than one occasion. However, if you will be arriving no earlier than 15 minutes before park opening then drive!  There won't be a lot of cars out there (which is one reason why I think the parking toll booths don't open early). If you need to get to the park earlier than 15 minutes before park opening then definitely take Disney transportation.
