I hear that Walt Disney World is going to be giving guaranteed reservations for a small time period into Galaxy's edge during the first 6 weeks in Florida only for actual Disney hotel resort guests just like they are in California. Is that true?

    Hi Mark!

Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm sure you're excited about your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation because there are so many new things that you will be able to enjoy during your trip. The Disney Imagineers have been hard at work creating new experiences for Guests to enjoy at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. And beginning August 29, Guests will have the opportunity to travel to a galaxy far, far away and visit Black Spire Outpost on the Planet Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge!

I'm so excited about all of the amazing experiences that await us in this new land. I mean, even the food and beverages are perfectly designed to fit right into the Star Wars world! Guests who visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland during its first several weeks open will need both theme park admission and a reservation to enter the area. However, we have been told that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World Resort will not be using the same reservation system during its first several weeks and Guests will not need a reservation to visit the land in Walt Disney World Resort when it opens. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog over the next few months for additional information and announcements as the opening date approaches.

Come back to see us if we can help you with additional questions. May the Force be with you!
