    I hear they are stopping the monorail earlier. We stay at the Poly yearly and enjoy the extra magic hours. We don't spend alot of time in the resort. What is the advantage of staying there in the future? Thinking of down grading to a moderate.

    I've heard the same rumors on the Monorail too. But until I hear it from the Mouse himself, I tend to keep my plans in tact. I suggest you keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog or here on the Moms Panel for official word on what is planned for the Monorail.

    That said - I have to ask... if you stay at the Polynesian Resort every year, why wouldn't you stay there again? What are the advantages you ask? The Nanea Volcano Pool. Hammocks to watch the Electrical Water Pageant. Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe. Adult grilled cheese at Captain Cook's. Being able to see Cinderella's Castle from the beach. The list goes on and on.

    I love the Poly. And I'm guessing you do too. If you decide you do want to consider a Moderate Resort, let us know and we'll help you choose one that's best for your family. But I think if your annual vacation includes Dole Whips at the Polynesian, you may want to consider it again!
