I hear good things about the annual pass but i am wondering if it would be worth getting it for our trip? will arrive Saturday afternoon and will leave Saturday morning so about a week. i know i only need one person with a pass

    Hello, Samantha,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  As an Annual Passholder, I can share with you how much I enjoy having one and the many discounts and benefits that come along with it.  In fact, there are some additional benefits offered through September 30, 2017, as Walt Disney World celebrates its 45th anniversary that are great.

To see if an Annual Pass would be worthwhile for you, you'll want to do a cost comparison.  For example, an 8 day ticket with the Park Hopper Option would cost around $527.18 while a Disney Platinum Pass (annual pass) would cost $829.64 (all prices are subject to change).  So, you'd want to look over all of the benefits and discounts offered to see if they would make up the difference in what you'd be spending.  If you think you'll return to Walt Disney World, too, within a year of activating your Annual Pass, you'll want to take that into consideration, too.

If you'd like to read more about Annual Pass discounts, I like the independent website www.mousesavers.com as it share many money-saving tips, including those gained from having an Annual Pass.

If we can help with any further questions as you continue to plan your trip. please let us know.  Wishing you a delightfully Disney day! -Kara
