Hi Liz –
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel – we are glad that you stopped by with your question! Guests with medical conditions can still have a great time while on vacation at the
Walt Disney World Resort. For your convenience, there are
First Aid Centers at each of the Parks.
First Aid Centers are staffed with nurses who can provide basic first aid (like bandages, cold remedies, over the counter medicines and minor medical care). They do not have nebulizers there for your use so please bring your own. Clearly label your nebulizer machine and medicine, and the nurses will be happy to store it in the First Aid Center until you need to use it. Your children can use the nebulizers in a private cubicle while in the Center.
Sometimes it can be difficult to get all the way across the Park to the First Aid Center in an emergency. For this reason, I recommend that you bring a handheld albuterol inhaler to carry with you just in case your children have asthma symptoms and need medicine urgently. If any of your medicines require refrigeration, they can also be stored there as well.
Liz, thanks for stopping by for a visit with us and have fun planning your trip!
