Hi Julie,
What a wonderful place to spend your honeymoon! One of my favorite things to do when I vacation at Walt Disney World....whether I have park tickets or not, is to always take a trip to the Polynesian Resort, sit on the beach at night and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. My daughter plays in the sand and we all have a crowd free place to sit and watch the fireworks.....this is truly magical. They do also pipe in the music along the walkway, so if you sit close by to the speakers you will really feel like you are standing right there, but in comfort! There are of course other places to view the fireworks, but this would be my choice of the available options.
I must tell you that you can also view the Electric Water Pageant which is a nightly display (to music as well) that makes it's circuit around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for the Magic Kingdom area resorts. Generally, you will be able to view this Water Pageant from the beach at the Polynesian Resort at about 9:00pm but if the fireworks at Magic Kingdom are scheduled at 9:00pm then the Water Pageant will sail by about 7-20 minutes after the fireworks display. Most of June has the
Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks scheduled for 10:00pm though, so you shouldn't run into this scenario. I hope that you try this out, it truly is an experience you will never forget and very romantic too!!!!
Have a magical honeymoon,
Brigitta
