We are heading 12/19-12/22 and wondering which parks on which days we should do and what is the most simple way to make a plan of attack for the Magic Kingdom?

Hi, Thomas! Your Walt Disney World vacation is so very close! I hope you're packed and ready to go!

I'm not sure what options you have on your Magic Your Way tickets, but I often advise friends and family to spring for the park hopper option when visiting around the holidays. If you get to one park and find that it's too crowded for your liking, you can switch to another.  Also, you can possibly see two parks in one day -- especially if they are connected easily with internal transportation.  It's easy to go back and forth between Epcot and Hollywood Studios (by boat) and Magic Kingdom and Epcot (by monorail).

I would plan your days based on park hours and special events which you can review by going to the Calendar of each park's page on the www.disneyworld.com site.  If you click on each day, you can see the entertainment schedule. As far as a touring plan for the Magic Kingdom, you can consult a site such as touringplans.com.  They can even predict the crowd levels for the days you are there and provide you with a sample tour of any of the parks.

For me and my family at the Magic Kingdom, we like to head down Main Street USA to get our first glimpse of Cinderella Castle and then, head to the left to Adventureland first.  We tour the park clockwise ending with Tomorrowland in the evening.  However, if you have little ones with you, you'll want to head straight through the Castle first thing in the morning and hit Fantasyland first.

I hope this helps you plan! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
