Am heading to WL Villas for first time in early June. Is there a recommendation the panel could make on where to ask for a room on the villas property? Im a DVC member and looking forward to a great vacation, a great room location will add to the magic.

    Hi Derek,

Thank you for your question!  You will love staying in the villas at Wilderness Lodge.  The rustic theming will make you feel like you are out West in Yellowstone National Park.  I want to make sure that you take the Lodge tour which begins at 9 am in the lobby.  Also, when you check-in, ask a Cast Member to be the Flag Family for the day.  You will join the Ranger on the roof of the Lodge and raise all the flags for the day.

Most of the villas have a woodland view.  The best rooms are the odd numbered rooms especially 2531-2563 and 3531-3563.  These open to the Northeast, or lake side, of the resort.  You usually can't see the lake unless you are on floors 4-5.   I would probably call DVC Member Services to request the room as well.  I know your vacation will be magical at the Wilderness Lodge, Derek.  Welcome Home!
