Heading WDW 4/21-4/27. We want to view a prime spot to view the Illuminations Fireworks. I made ADR at Rose & Crown for 7:15 and La Hacienda de San Angel for 8:30. Which one will be more likely to provide us with the best view?

Hi Connie! Wow you have two great dining reservations at Epcot!  When offering best viewing suggestions for Illuminations I always tell guests to see what direction the wind is blowing for that night. You like to be on the opposite side of the wind for the best view. However, looking at your two reservations I feel you would have a better chance to be at a table with the 7:15 time at Rose and Crown.  Stop by early and ask to see if you can get an outside table which will give you the absolute best spot in the restaurant.  If not possible then you can move to a spot that is not affecting other guests when the show begins.  You will have to dine slowly and let your server know you are not in a rush that evening.

La Hacienda San Angel is one of my favorite restaurants in Epcot now as I love their shrimp tacos!  With the 8:30pm time you have a good chance not to even be seated by 9:00pm. Unfortunately guests who have the best seats in the house won't be in any rush to leave until after the show making life miserable for all those who had hoped to be inside to watch from their table. It would be a close call to get a table on time.

Your choice basically will be to dine early and slowly or dine later and hope tables open up on time.  I always say go  for the sure thing which is to be seated at Rose and Crown and would also most definitely ask for an outside table.
