Heading to WDW this summer with two picky eaters, age 6. Do most restaurants offer pasta with butter as a substitution when pasta with sauce is listed on the menu? Thanks!!

Hi Jessica! I totally understand the frustration of finding foods that young picky eaters will eat and enjoy while on vacations. I will say that Walt Disney World is the destination for children and the restaurants deal with picky eaters daily. With that said you can also find some that don't measure up to what you had hoped and that is often due to a server more then a restaurant. Please feel free to always ask for a manager if an issue comes up.

We ordered buttered noodles once at Be Our Guest restaurant and we were served some noodles that were fairly cold and some butter packets. Of course this was not what we had in mind and were greatly disappointed.

I have found that if you are specific with your server you will receive what you need to satisfy your children. If pasta is on the children's menu then simply ask for this without the sauce and instead please melt butter with it. As I mentioned all restaurants deal with children daily and they will try very hard to please their smallest guests. This will also pertain to the Quick Service spots although they don't have the freedom to cook things specially as the Table Service restaurants.
