Hi Cindy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds as if you are getting into the spirit of the holiday season!
My family loves Memory Maker. Our photos and ride videos are just priceless. We use those photos to create photo books and/or prints from our trips. You can certainly browse through
Photo Gift Products and Prints prior to your trip. You can also view additional keepsake products through
Shop Disney Parks Online or the App. As much as we always have a good time staring down Kylo Ren at Star Wars Launch Bay, we know that every vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort ends much too quickly. Memories matter.
Cindy, I do have a few other tips regarding Memory Maker if this is your first time purchasing it. We always purchase at the Advanced Purchase price to save money. If we are traveling with extended family, we get one Memory Maker for the group to share. Be aware that occasionally photos do not automatically populate in My Disney Experience. While we are in the parks, I check the My Disney Experience Mobile App to make sure photos are populating. If one does not appear, I stop by a PhotoPass Service Center in the parks. As long as I can recall the general location where a picture was taken and the general time it was taken, a cast member has almost always been able to find the missing photos. On one rare occasion, the cast member at the PhotoPass Service Center in the park could not locate one of our photos so I called Disney PhotoPass Services at 407-560-4300. Via some Disney magic, our photo was found a few days later and I received an email as soon as it was uploaded to My Disney Experience account.
Happy shopping and happy planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
