Hi! We are heading to WDW in September to celebrate finishing up my cancer treatment. We have purchased tickets for the Not So Scary Mickey's Halloween and was wondering what kind of things are there for us young at heart adults?

    Hello there Alberta!

I just want to say that you are a very brave person and that I hope everything works 100 percent for you in the fight against cancer! As you know, on select nights, the Magic Kingdom Park closes early and transforms into the best Halloween Party I have ever been to! The dates of the party have finally been released!

We attended Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party a couple of years ago with my kids 3 & 6 and my parents. While this is an extra ticketed event, I have to tell you that it is definitely worth it! We love Halloween but the way that Disney dresses up the park and puts on the extra shows just for those nights is amazing. The HalloWishes Fireworks show is arguably the best display that they put on out of the year and Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is one of my favorites. There is candy and all sorts of trick or treaters throughout the park!

Please make sure to check the Park Times Guide to verify Character appearance locations, parade and show times as changes may occur. I hope you Have a Magical Stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions we are always here to help!
