    So, heading to WDW on a room/ticket package that includes free dining. We are heading back another time w/in the year, so we'd like to upgrade our tickets to annual passes when we get to the park. Will this change our free dining promo or can we do this?

    Hi Greg!

          Yes, you can take your Magic Your Way Tickets and use the value of them to put toward the purchase of Annual Passes even if you have a free dining package.  I have done this exact thing two times in the last two years and it has worked great.  It is the best if you apply the value of your Magic Your Way Tickets before you use them to enter a park (they are worth more before you use them).  On your first day of your next Walt Disney World vacation, you can purchase your Annual Passes before you enter the park for that day.  Keep in mind that if you do this your Park Tickets will be on your Annual Passes and not your Keys To the World Card (your room key).  Your Keys to the World Card will contain your room key and your dining plan credits so may sure to bring them and your Annual Passes with you when you leave your Resort for the day.
