Hi Amber!
One of the absolute best ways to get the most out of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is taking advantage of
Extra Magic Hours! Especially in the heat of the summer, those early mornings and late nights are an amazing way to both stay cool and avoid peak crowds.
I highly recommend arriving at the park before Extra Magic Hours begin so that you will be there to take advantage of all the time available to you. If you map out a plan for where you want to go first (and you are willing to power walk), you can experience three or four attractions during this time! Once Extra Magic Hours are over, you can experience some of the less crowded attractions while also admiring the magic all around you--all while everyone else is trying to make it to the most popular attractions. It's like going the opposite direction from rush hour traffic, which is a great feeling ... trust me! If you go to Extra Magic Hours early in the morning, you can even take a break by the pool or take a nap in your room in the heat of the afternoon to reenergize for the evening.
If you are going to a park during Extra Magic Hours that has a lot of must-see attractions for you, and you plan to spend a whole day in one park, I think it is completely fine to also use your
FastPass+ selections in the same park. That way, you can spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the experience! If you want to experience the highlights in all of the parks, making your FastPass+ selections in another park will help ensure that you get the best of both worlds--in both parks!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
