We are heading to WDW this October and I was wondering where the best places are to eat in each Theme park. I would like to try to make reservations for meals on the days that we are at each park. Thank you!

    Beth:

'Best' has different definitions...but here are some of my favorite table restaurants in the parks.

    Magic Kingdom:
    • Best Buffet: Crystal Palace serves up amazingly fresh food for buffet service, including inventive salads and home-style entrees.
    • Best Salad/Dessert: Although this restaurant is not the best for the dining plan, if you're paying out-of-pocket, The Plaza Restaurant's Strawberry Chicken Salad is not standard theme-park fare along with the Vegetarian Sandwich. One dessert can feed a family of 4!
    Epcot:
    • Best Value/Best for Picky Eaters: Biergarten, especially at lunch. Here, you get a floor show, a meat-and-potatoes buffet, and for those who like a good beer, quite a selection. Runner up: Teppan Edo
    • Best Princess Meal: Forget Cinderella's Royal Table and its price-tag, Akershus for breakfast (book the latest seating you can) offers wonderful character interaction with MANY princesses for a reasonable price.
    • Best for Love Birds: Bistro de Paris, especially a seat by the window to catch Illuminations.
    • Best View of Illuminations: Tokyo Dining or Rose & Crown
    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    • Best Theme: Even with its limited menu, Sci-Fi Dinner Theatre scores a thumbs-up.
    • Best for Grown ups: Brown Derby, although pricey, provides a respite from the parks.

    Animal Kingdom:
    • Best for Kids: Rainforest Cafe. Practically a must-do for our family (even though the teenagers wouldn't admit it!)
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
