Well, you have picked a most wonderful time of year to visit as we prepare for
The World's Most Magical Celebration. At this time,
Merchandise Delivery and Package Pick-up are paused and I do not yet have definitive news on its return in time for your visit. Since these features have been unavailable on our last few visits, we had items shipped back home. I have to say that I had my doubts when we first used the shipping services, but our recent experience has been fantastic. Our items have often arrived before we arrived back home.
Keep an eye on the
operational updates to see if these services return in time for your visit. In the meantime, I would plan to ship purchases back home. We were able to ship from the stores where we made the purchases. And, we even shipped a gift to my sister-in-law on our last visit in July. If you decide to ship, just ask a Cast Member if it is available where you make the purchase.
As you prepare for your visit, I do hope you made some
advanced dining reservations. On our most recent visits, we have been so glad that we made dining reservations. On a few days, we did use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. It was fairly easy to use but I learned to check the arrival times at least an hour before we wanted to eat just to be sure the restaurant was not super delayed with orders. Make sure you have the My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded so that you can also do
Mobile Dine Check-in and use
Disney Genie service.
