We are heading to WDW in October. My son is turning 3 during the trip. Do I have to pay for him? He doesn't have a passport & i don't feel comfortable traveling with his birth certificate. Do I have to prove he's two when we arrive?

    Hi Annastasia!

October is such a fun time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Magic Kingdom Park is decorated in a fall theme and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a must do for my family.

You will in fact have to purchase a ticket for your son once he turns three years old. While The Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t typically ask for proof of age, they do work on the honor system. They expect that guest’s purchase Theme Park Tickets once their children become three years old.

While I am not sure if you are driving or flying to Florida, I do want to remind you that if you are flying you will need to carry your sons original Birth Certificate in order for him to pass through security and board the plane.

I hope that your son has a magical birthday!
