Heading to WDW in October. If we chose not to purchase memory maker, is it possible to have the photopass photographers take pictures and view them on the photopass website to order merchandise like calendars and ornaments? Thanks

    Hey Tracy-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! October is right around the corner and you will be there during my favorite time of the year. Spooky silly pumpkins, fall holiday decorations, good weather and low crowds along with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party make this the most spelltacular time of year.

You do not need Memory Maker in order to take advantage of the photos made automatically at certain attractions like Space Mountain and Splash Mountain or by PhotoPass photographers.  As you link those photos to your MagicBand or PhotoPass card (given to you by a PhotoPass photographer) you will have access to make all sorts of souvenirs. Calendars, mugs, greeting cards, smartphone cases and others as well as purchase prints and photo albums. Mickey and the gang want you smiling all year long as you look at your pictures.

To access your Walt Disney World Resort photos, like I did from my trip this past September where I did not purchase a Memory Maker, visit Disney’s PhotoPass website. Log in to your Disney account and choose the theme park where your desired photo was made or browse them all. If you want a photo then choose “Photos & Videos” from the top of the page. You may decorate photos with a variety of magical features including borders, stickers and even signatures. For other items choose “Products” form the top of the page and shop for your favorite. Calendars and ornaments are always a hit.

Disney Dad Tip: I would also ask the PhotoPass photographer to make pictures with your own camera. They are so kind and willing to do this. There is no cost and it gives you an affordable option for your memories.

Tracy, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
