Heading to WDW Oct 24 to Nov 3/12 * 2 families Total of 5 Adults and 5 Children ages 2,5,6,7,*8 Birthday girl will turn 9 on Oct 26th. Our FIRST trip - got the MNSS event booked. Not sure what Character Dining to go with, any suggestions?

Hands down, Barb, my favorite character dining experience at Walt Disney World is Garden Grill.  Unique not only for the rotating dining room, but also for the food; some of the menu items come from The Land greenhouse.  Everything from the bread course to desert is served family-style at Garden Grill and the characters stop by your table to pose for photos and sign autographs.

Another great option is lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.  I prefer lunch over breakfast here because the pace is far more relaxed and the menu is a bit more inspired.  Of course, this is one of the more pricey character meal options, but still one of my favorites.  Hopefully one of those will work for your family, too!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
