Hi - We're heading to WDW in mid-Apr w/a 4 1/2 year old and just about 2 year old. What's the best hotel for kids this age? Princesses, MK and AK are key. Also want great pool/activities at hotel for kids and easy access to parks for trips back.

Hello, Joanne!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to hear about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  The family must be thrilled, so we had better get started.

Every WDW Resort offers something different and special.  Selecting just one is very difficult for me, but I will try to narrow it down by each resort category.

If you are planning on booking a Value Resort, I would highly recommend Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. This resort is "candy" for the eyes and your children will LOVE the larger than life giant icons from many Disney Classics.  With 2 swimming pools and a playground, you cannot go wrong.

The Caribbean Beach Resort (Moderate Resort) is a fun way to to enjoy sleeping in a ship-shaped bed. The pirate themed rooms are enjoyable.  The pool resembles a Spanish fort!

Now if your little ones enjoy animals, there is nothing better than staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Visit wildlife in your own backyard.  You may as well have been dropped in the middle of Africa!  You can also visit Simba's Cubhouse which offers supervised activities for children ages 3-12.  The pools are just as beautiful as the resort itself.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
