We will be heading to WDW in May without a dining plan. Are kid's meals free for children under the age of three? While making reservations this was my understanding.

Hi, Melissa! Your little biscuit can eat off of your plate free of charge (assuming that you're okay with the kid bogarting your food.)

Some table service restaurants will bring your kiddo a little something special without you needing to order and pay for it. Drinks (like milk) at table service venues are also usually awarded as freebies. If you're unsure, feel free to ask your server prior to ordering for clarification.

I think the biggest bang for your buck with kids under three are character meals with buffets. There's no shame in making return trips to the buffet and syphoning off food for your kid to eat from your plate. Plus, with a kid under three, the character experience and buffet diversion are nice ways to make it through a meal.
