Heading to WDW May 27-June2... With 2 boys 12 and 6... thinking about staying at Carribean Beach Resort with dining plan, park hopper pass, and water parks... How is CBR, what's a good itinerary for the week, and what are some recomended places to eat?

    Hi, Ashley!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is like a tropical beach breeze in the middle of Florida. With its bright colors, island feel, and awesome pool area, you're on a vacation while you're on your vacation! A variety of dining options are on site, and you'll be able to enjoy complimentary wifi in all common areas and in Guest rooms.

You're coming at a good time - kind of the break between Spring Breakers and the start of the summer travel season. That said, you'll find crowd levels to be slightly above average but definitely manageable.

The highest-demand Parks consistently show as being Magic Kingdom and Epcot. For that reason, I would definitely schedule those Parks on midweek days. I'm not sure how many days you are purchasing on your Park Hoppers, but consider Epcot on Monday and/or Thursday, and Magic Kingdom on Tuesday and/or Wednesday.

Disney's Hollywood Studios will definitely be a galaxy of fun, as you will be there in time for Star Wars Weekends! On both weekends of your visit, you'll get characters, special guest appearances, shows, and more. The Studios are definitely more crowded than usual on those weekends, so if Star Wars is not your "thing," plan on hitting that Park on a weekday as well: preferably Thursday or Tuesday.

As beautiful as Disney's Animal Kingdom is, it never feels crowded, simply because of the sprawling acreage. You'll be all right to visit that Park on the weekend.

M: Epcot. T: Studios. W: Magic Kingdom. Th: Magic Kingdom (if you want to repeat). F: Epcot (if you want to repeat), Animal Kingdom is easiest to negotiate, and you still have weekend time to hit the Studios for Star Wars Weekends.

Feel free to send me a note with some of your traveling party's must-dos, and I'll be glad to get more specific!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
