Hi there we are heading to WDW the last week of August 2012. Very excited. We will be staying at POP Century, does anyone have any idea what this resort is like? Also, we plan on doing the waterparks. Which of the two is preferred?

    Hi Lisa!

Disney's Pop Century Resort is a vibrant, larger than life resort full of recognizable Pop icons through the decades! You'll love the fun atmosphere there! It's located in the south end of the Walt Disney World resort property, close to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. With three swimming pools on site, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy splish-splashing right at your own resort!

When you're all splashed out there though, definitely plan on heading over to one of Disney's amazing Water Parks. Personally, I prefer Blizzard Beach because of the amazing theming and great water slides. If thrills are your style, your family may prefer Typhoon Lagoon's huge wave pool, thrilling snorkel tank and the amazing Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster! Both parks are great fun! It really depends which one appeals to you! Take a look at both water parks online to view height restrictions for some of the most popular water attractions. That may help you make some decisions if you have some smaller travelers with you!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your questions Lisa. I hope you'll return again soon for more answers, recommendations and advice to make your vacation the best one ever!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Lisa!
