    Heading to WDW for the first time in December! SO excited! I am wondering if the pool (staying at the Cornado) and the waterparks will be open??? Thanks!

    Hi Mary,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Coronado Springs Resort is one of my favorites at Walt Disney World.  The pools are fantastic, and you are able to enjoy them all year long!  It's pretty common to see "northerners" in the pools during the Florida winter, the heated water makes it very tolerable for us! 

    During your visit in December Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed for it's annual refurbishment however you can enjoy Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, it's open daily!
