Welcome, Foolish Mortal! Both the Ghost Host and I are thrilled to welcome you to planDisney and your first trip to party with some happy haunts. Dare I say, "It won't be your last!"
An Annual Passholder, living in Georgia, headed to Walt Disney World Resort for Fall Break and tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party... Ali, you and I have so much in common. It’s like you can read my mind or we both gazed into Madame Leota’s crystal ball.
With your plans to run
Amuck! Amuck! Amuck! at EPCOT in the morning, you will need a
theme park reservation—unless it changes to a "good to go" day. You can, however, purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for attractions at another theme park.
On the night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you can select Multi Pass attractions at Magic Kingdom Park until 6 p.m. Once the park closes to daytime Guests,
standby queues materialize at all available attractions. Even
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure welcome spirits without a Lightning Lane or Virtual Queue.
Several other attractions will have you sensing a disquieting metamorphosis.
Mad Tea Party will have an aura of foreboding.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor will tickle your ribs with Halloween spirits. And my favorite,
Space Mountain, takes flight on a starless night and launches you into complete darkness.
Since this is your first time celebrating the ghoulish holiday with Mickey and his friends, there is so much I'm dying to tell you.
Magic Kingdom Park allows party Guests to enter the crypt— oops! I mean
the park— at 4 p.m. Since you will be at another theme park, I'd come before 4 p.m. or wait until 4:30 or even a bit later. Guests get in line early to be there right at 4. The line tends to die down a bit after the initial rush.
After you get your wristband, be sure to get your Trick-or-Treat bag and stop by Market Street, near Main Street, U.S.A. In previous years, this has been a detour into the theme park, set up to get the party started. This candy stop closes at 8 p.m.
For Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade, find a spot in the front of Cinderella Castle heading back to Main Street, U.S.A. The Headless Horseman has been known to ride through
ahead of the parade. It is so thrilling, you might lose your head!
Take a
shriek peek at
Disney Eats: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Foodie Guide 2024 for treats worth
exorcising for that you will only find lurking about at the party.
Ali, if you have any questions as you plan your spirited trip,
planDisney is here for you!
Let's BOO This!
