Heading to WDW 9/20-24, and so excited planning little details! Thanks for your help. Have reservation for CRT 8am and then MNSSHP that same evening, no park hopper tix. Could we and/or any more benefit to spending daytime hours at another park?

Hi Keri! I would actually suggest you take some time out and head back to your resort mid day. You have a long day planned and with the special party at night you might wear yourselves and the family out if you don't put some rest time into the itinerary.

Since you have the Cinderella's Royal Table reservation you will need to be in the Magic Kingdom that day. Personally, I would stick where you are and enjoy a nice day in the Magic Kingdom through lunch time. Then head back to the resort to rest and freshen up and return for dinner and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. You want to be able to last to see the parade and fireworks and enjoy some of the attractions at night when the lines will be shorter.
