Heading to WDW Dec. 4th as a HS graduation gift to my daughter (it's a mother-daughter trip). I'd like t have something special waiting in the room when we check in - any suggestions? Also, is Downtown Disney open late during that week?

A mother daughter trip to Walt Disney World sounds really sweet. There are so many great ways to surprise her when she opens the door to your Walt Disney Room resort. I would start with the great folks at Disney Florists. I actually was able to go behind the magic and tour this awesome warehouse that makes dreams come true. They have so many wonderful ways to decorate a room that will put a huge smile on your daughter's face once she opens that door. I actually surprised my wife and had the artist's at Disney Florists decorate our room as if Mickey Mouse had been there himself, complete with his footprints, a signed card and a customized cake. It really added so much to our vacation. I would contact the helpful magic makes at 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438) to begin planning. They will walk you through the entire process and make sure the magic is just right when the time comes to open that magical door. I really hope you both treasure this special occasion. If you need any other tips to make even more magical memories just let me know. I am here to assist. See you at the parks.
