    We are heading to WDW in 16 days! We are taking our 2 kids, ages 7 and 4. Is there anything that I need to remember to pack or bring (besides the obvious clothes, shoes, etc)? Thanks!

    Only a couple of weeks stand between you and and your magical vacation at Walt Disney World!! When I am sitting on the airplane, I am always thinking that I forgot something. And as many times as I have forgotten things, I have always been able to improvise or request information from a friendly Cast Member on how to either purchase the item or make do without. Here are a few more things to remember.
    Keep in mind, that you are allowed to bring snacks, juice boxes etc. into the parks. Fruit Snacks and Capri Suns are my "must have" items for trips to Walt Disney World with the kiddies. If you are going to swim at your hotel or visit the water parks bring your own towels. While towels can be obtained at the water parks for a small fee, it's always nice to have your little piece of home to wrap around your drenched bodies after a dip in the pool. A note about shoes: I like to have 2 different styles of shoes for each person. Why? You will do a lot, and I mean a lot of walking while visiting WDW. You may wake up with shin splints on or about your second day. The shin splints can be impossible if you don the same shoes each time you walk. Try a different pair of shoes that allows your foot to hit the the ground differently. I like to take a pair of sneakers and a pair of Crocs. I always keep one pair with me in my drawstring bag at all times. Those are my suggestions, I hope this helps to maybe spark your Disney brain as to any thing else you might need. See ya real soon!
