Hi Moms! We will be heading to WDW in 45 days to celebrate our sons 5th Bday. We heard that the new T-Rex restaraunt is now open - do they accept the Disney Dining Plan? Thanks so much for all of the helpful info and magical tips!

Happy early birthday to your little guy!  Walt Disney World is a fabulous place to celebrate!

I've not had the opportunity to visit the new T-Rex restaurant because it didn't open until right after our last visit.  I did call Disney dining this morning though and I was told that, currently, T-Rex does not accept the Disney dining plan.  It's unknown at this time whether or not that will change for 2009.

Some other great places to hold a celebration birthday dinner are:

-Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge
    - 'Ohana at the Polynesian
    - The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
    - Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club
    - Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary

    Have a great trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
