We are heading to Walt Disney World with our two 3-1/2 year old granddaughters and have reservations for both the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Pkg and the Fireworks Dessert Party w/ Plaza Garden Viewing. Worth the price? Good viewing?

Hi Geri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a special trip this will be for you and your granddaughters! Just wait until you watch their eyes light up with wonder as they experience everything for the first time. This trip will be full of memories you will cherish forever!

One of the best parts about the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package and the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing is that you get reserved viewing for two of the most crowded events in all of the Walt Disney World Resort. Plus, you need to eat anyway, so you are accomplishing both things at once!

Between the two, I prefer the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. Combining sweet treats and fireworks ... does it really get any better than that? The reserved viewing area saves you a lot of time when it comes to staking out a great spot for the Happily Ever After fireworks display which can get very packed with people! I think you will enjoy both events, but if I could only do one, it would definitely be this one. The parade typically is a bit easier to find a front spot for, but you do have to snag your spot early without the dining package, so keep that in mind.

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Geri! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
