Hi! We are heading to SWW June 9. Can children participate in the SW parade? I read somewhere that they could, and they get to keep a Light Saber, but I don't remember where I read that or how to participate. This is our first SWW with boys ages 2, 4 &

    Hi Elizabeth!

Having been to a few Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios over the last four years, I can say that it's a blast for kids of all ages! In fact, my family and I will be attending on June 9th as well! I'm so excited! We are going to try to get into the parade as well. As with all of the special parade experiences, it's all done randomly. When you arrive at the park, the more enthusiasm you have, the better. Cast members will pick kids at random when the park opens.

If your kids are not picked, do not worry! There are other special experiences (Padawan Mind Challenge and Jedi Training Academy)  for them to take part in during the day. You should try to sign them up as early as possible as the times fill up fast due to the limited spaces. The sign up location is near Star Tours and there are Cast Members all around to help guide you in the right direction.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope you have a fantastic time at Star Wars Weekend and maybe we'll run into you in the park!
