Hi there! we are going to be heading to the parks directly from the airport and I'm a little anxious about making fast pass reservations. If we miss/are late to our first fast pass+ by 5 to 10 minutes will it still be valid?

    Hello, Ali!

Welcome to the Disney Park Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I am very proud of you for already making your FastPass+ reservations for your vacation! I promise your planning now will pay great dividends once you arrive.

You ask a great question, and one question that really does not have a hard and fast answer. There was one time where my family was a few minutes late for a FastPass+ reservation, and we were not allowed to ride because the time had expired. Then, there was one time we were late, and the Cast Member allowed us to ride. So, to answer your question, it really depends on the Cast Member. What I do know is that Cast Members really do like to make the MAGIC for guests. If you are late because of traveling from the airport, I would just explain why you are late and smile really big while you wait for your answer!

If you are really worried about the time of your FastPass+ reservation, you can still change the time. It looks like you are coming to Walt Disney World in May, so there are a lot of FastPass+ reservations still available. I know this because my Disney family vacation is in late May, and I just changed a few reservations for our family yesterday.

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
