Boo to you, Tracie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I LOVE a group costume, and you are going to get some truly spectacular pictures dressed as the crew from Peter Pan! How fun would it be to get a photo of all of you in front of the
Peter Pan’s Flight attraction?
The
Costume Guidelines for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party prohibit items that could be mistaken for an actual weapon, including sharp or pointed objects. However, if your Captain Hook’s hook is obviously plastic and blunt, I think you’ll be just fine. The hook should fall into the same category as toy lightsabers and toy swords – at last year’s party, my husband dressed as Peter Pan and had a very obviously plastic sword, and he had no trouble with this accessory. Something like
this Captain Hook costume accessory set from ShopDisney would be in line with accessories sold at
The Pirate’s League and in the
Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar (the gift shop outside
Pirates of the Caribbean).
I hope you and your fairies, lost boys, pirates, and Darlings have the most pixie-dusted, magical time at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Don’t miss this year’s all-new Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, hosted by Jack Skellington, or the ever-popular Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Since you’re the Neverland crew, that means you can stuff your faces with candy, dance like skeletons, and scream with delight on all the attractions all night long, and I hope you enjoy every never-grow-up moment with your favorite people!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
