We’re heading to Mickeys Very Merry! However, our flight was changed and lands at 7pm on party night. 😳 if we don’t make it to Magic Kingdom until a bit after 8pm, is there anywhere we can still pick up our ornament?!

    Season's greetings, Stacey!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet, and thank you for sending us this question! I am so sorry to hear that your plans were cut short a bit, but I am hopeful that you will still have the most wonderful experience at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Unfortunately, as you know, commemorative 50th-anniversary ornaments are handed out for a limited time during each Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to Guests with party tickets. In this case, I would highly recommend that you stop by Guest Relations on your way into Magic Kingdom Park and tell a Cast Member about your situation. Although I cannot guarantee that you will be able to get an ornament after they stop being handed out, Cast Members are always happy to help. Indeed, I always think of Cast Members as real-life fairy godparents, and I always go to them whenever I have issues!

The other good news is that the festive fun will not stop after your Christmas party! Each theme park gets decked out during the holiday season, and so many unique offerings are only available at that time of year. One of my favourite offerings is EPCOT'S International Festival of the Holidays, as I always love trying new food and learning about new holiday traditions. You can also enjoy activities only available during this festival, like Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt and the Holiday Cookie Stroll. Watch the Candlelight Processional featuring some of your favourite celebrities to end the perfect day! If you're a foodie like me, also be sure to check out Disney Park Blog's Foodie Guides for all the festive treats throughout the parks and Resort hotels.

I hope this was helpful, Stacey, and that you will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Helping fellow Guests like you is always such a treat.

    Have a magical day,
