Ahoy, Jenene! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your Disney Cruise Line question. Your
9-Night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise from Barcelona ending in Civitavecchia (Rome) aboard the
Disney Dream sounds amazing and I’m happy to help you figure out the travel logistics.
Disney Cruise Line sails from the
Port of Barcelona, which is approximately 30-40 minutes from the Barcelona International Airport. The address for the Port of Barcelona is Moll Adossat, 1, 08039 Barcelona, Spain. If you are arriving in Spain prior to embarkation day, you can contact Disney Cruise Line to arrange a pre-cruise hotel stay and
ground transfers between the airport, hotel, and cruise port. There are three different hotels in Barcelona that Disney Cruise Line is affiliated with: Hilton Diagonal Mar, Renaissance Barcelona Hotel, and Sofitel Barcelona Skipper. These are not options that you can book for yourself online, so you do need to
call Disney Cruise Line directly and speak with a representative. They can assist you with making your preferred hotel reservation and arranging both your airport and port transportation for a worry-free experience once you arrive in Spain.
Since your cruise begins and ends in different ports, you can also speak to the representative about booking a post-cruise hotel in Rome or arranging for additional ground transportation options there. The
Port of Civitavecchia is located at Porto di Civitavecchia, Molo Vespucci, 00053 Civitavecchia RM, Italy. There are also three hotels in Rome that Disney can arrange for you: Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, Rome Cavalieri: A Waldorf Astoria Resort, and The Regency Rome: A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. When you call, the representative can discuss all of the available options and current pricing.
I know that traveling can be a lot sometimes, so definitely take advantage of all the services that Disney Cruise Line offers to help make your entire vacation a relaxing experience. If you have any other questions as you prepare to set sail in May, we are always here to help at planDisney. Happy sailing!
