We are heading to magic kingdom next week, and are trying to figure out the photo pass? Will the photographers not take photos with our own personal cameras anymore or do we have to do the photo pass?

Oh my goodness, Ashley! Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so quickly. I would be so excited if I were you.

Disney's PhotoPass photographers are a Walt Disney World Resort guest's best friend. Not only are they situated at the best places to capture iconic photos in the Disney theme parks and water parks, but they'll gladly take photos with your personal camera, too. I have never had a PhotoPass photographer refuse to take pictures with my camera or phone. They won't be able to capture the "magic shots" that appear on the film with your camera, but they can still catch some amazing photos for you to cherish forever. (By the way, magic shots are images that include a little extra pixie dust when the finished product is revealed in the Disney PhotoPass section of your My Disney Experience account. You just never know when Tinker Bell might magically appear, if you know what I mean.)

If you happen to be Annual Passholders, PhotoPass photography downloads are complimentary. That's one of the features I love most about my Annual Pass

I will attach a video by my Disney Parks Moms Panel friend, Andrea. In it she does a great job sharing additional information about Memory Maker and Disney PhotoPass photography.

Wishing you many magical memories on your trip this month,
    Jill
